Privacy Policy

Last updated March 18, 2026

01

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Go To There (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described here and in the Terms of Use.

02

Information we collect

We may collect: (a) content you voluntarily submit, including message text, images, and videos; (b) device-reported location coordinates used solely for proximity verification at reveal time; and (c) standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and access timestamps transmitted automatically by your device.

03

How we use information

Collected data is used exclusively to operate and maintain the Service, including storing and delivering messages, performing location checks, and enforcing rate limits. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any third party.

04

No monitoring of content

We do not monitor, review, screen, or moderate user-generated content transmitted through the Service. We have no obligation to do so. Users are solely responsible for the content they create and share.

05

Location data

Location coordinates are processed at reveal time to determine whether a user is within the required proximity of a pinned location. We do not track your location outside of an active reveal request. Location data may be logged transiently for abuse prevention and service integrity but is not used for profiling, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.

06

Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure providers (such as hosting, storage, and database services) to operate. These providers may process data on our behalf subject to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party.

07

Data retention

We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service. We may delete any content, account data, or logs at any time without notice. We make no guarantees regarding the preservation, backup, or availability of any user data.

08

Security

We apply reasonable safeguards to protect stored information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You use the Service and transmit information at your own risk.

09

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

10

No warranties

This Privacy Policy does not create any contractual or legal rights beyond what is required by applicable law. The Service is provided “as is” with no warranties regarding data handling, storage, or privacy beyond what is expressly stated here.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
